This is the Song that Never Ends

"Whistle While You Work" is the song that never ends. Actually, it's the work that never ends. Yesterday, I did housework from 8am to 8pm. And what do I have to show for it? I'm exhausted today. The laundry hampers are empty (almost--it's funny how they are never completely empty), but the house is all blown apart again (stuff everywhere). So why did I bother? This was my To Do List yesterday (well, the items that I got done):

Wash laundry (8 loads)
Fold & put away laundry (10 loads)
Wash all bedding & replace
Clean kids' rooms
Bathe kids
Make bread
Call Dr. Beazer
Call Dr. Wall
Go outside & clean big garbage can
Take out the garbage
Sweep
Vacuum
Help kids with homework
Clean the kitchen
Clean the stove (I disected it)
Wash pots & pans (that have been accumulating for a couple of days)
Dishes (I put away the 1st load, washed & put away 2 loads, then loaded again--and there was only 1 load of dirty dishes in the sink, the other 2 loads appeared from my baking, cooking & feeding people that day)
