Jode & I have been reading the Mistborn series. We have read the first book, Mistborn, and also the sequel, The Well of Ascension. We are currently in the middle of The Hero of Ages. If you like magic, good vs. evil, and all that good stuff, you'll love this series. It has great character development, an interesting world, and lots of action, suspense, & cool fighting. When we're done with the series, we'll be sure to read Brandon Sanderson's Elantris, which is a New York Times Bestseller & written before this series.

Josh and I have read the first two of this series and we LOVE them. We just haven't got around to reading the last one yet. I got to meet Brandon Sanderson a year or so ago at the Utah Library Association conference. He is a really nice guy. He teaches writing at BYU. I am especially excited that I like his books because he is finishing The Wheel of Time series for Robert Jordan who died almost two years ago. I don't know if you remember that I loved Robert Jordan's books. I own all thirteen of the published ones and Brandon's final installment will be two or three books more. I am so glad you enjoyed them. I always did try to get you to read fantasy when we were in High School:).
